How much does it weigh? What size rubber are you using? If it's overweight then go to heavier rubber. !.5 :1 P/D should work if all else is okay.

  One of the SO models flies at a nice cruise - at about 5 ft off the
  floor and lands with a lot of turns left. The prop is a "can' prop
  with about a 1.5 pitch ratio, just wondering, should we make up a
  lower pitch prop with no other changes as a first attempt.?
