Thank you for the SO information, it makes it now more interesting to read
about the class. I note that I was wrong in thinking that the fuselage
length was limited. This makes me think, with 7g structure weight
available, that Neil would be better off increasing the moment arm. Your
approach of using the maximum dimensions for wing and tail would seem to
give good proportions anyway.

I know Bernard Hunt quite well although I have not seen much of him
recently. We flew in the same indoor group for many years, until the hall
rent was increased so steeply that it was no longer viable as a venue for
indoor. I still have a copy of Bernie’s very early design program which was
written in a primitive form of Basic. I should like to see his spreadsheet;
is it available on the Net somewhere?
