Jimmy,

Thanks for all your work on behalf of the sport. Now back to toy airplanes:
get your skinny a** out west to Indoor Town. I need to see your HLG break 40
sec in our 37' ceiling. Our best officials are Romash: 38 and I've done
37.5. Bear in mind I'm flying the same piece of crap Coot/mod I built in
1989-still holds the Senior Cat I record.

I'd like to see your name at the top of the NC list in Glider/2007. First
step: come to Colo Spgs on March 25th.. Rob says Kagan is coming. My house
is 8 blocks from the Auditorium-you're welcome to stay anytime.

Thermals

Don

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] 2006 National Cup Points & USIC 2007

Well it is that time again, way late in the season and these should
have been done throughout the year, but we do have the Indoor
National Cup Points through the first ten of eleven events. The
final event will be in Colorado Springs November 19th. It appears
that Tom Sova will not NEED to travel to the event to ensure his win
this year, unless one of the other four in the top five do.

Kurt Krempetz made a mockery of the glider points this year. Romash
gave up some big points by CD-ing USIC, which did not allow him any
points there.

Glider Points
1 Krempetz, Kurt 266
2 Slusarczyk, D 138
3 Romash, R 113
4 Warmann, R 104
5 Krempetz, Ken I 84

Rubber Points
1 Sova, T 216
2 Van Gorder, W 168
3 Richmond, J 137
4 Sanborn, B 134
5 Gowen, W 115

Speaking of USIC. I just spoke with Rob; he has already reserved the
dates for USIC 2007 with Kim at ETSU. May 30th to June 3rd. Tony
Pavel will be putting his assistant CD 2006 experience to good use,
and will be stepping up to be the CD for 2007. A big round of
applause for Tony.

As you know, I have stepped down from my duties as NFFS Indoor
Committee dude. Rob Romash will be picking up where I left off.
There is simply too much going on in my life right now to give the
position the attention it deserves.

Rob will also take over my position as Indoor National Cup Chairman.
I will stay on as Indoor National Cup assistant to help ease the
transition.

It was an interesting couple of years to say the least. I learned
allot (maybe to much:) about the political side of indoor flying.
Hopefully I did some good things, and they will continue to grow to
the benefit of all in the sport. In the meantime, I am going to get
back to flying toy airplanes just for the fun of it, eventually.

Merely the Assistant Indoor National Cup Administrator, thank
goodness.

P.S. I will post the score sheet in the files section. Please look
over it, and if you see any wrong information (especially Ken and
Kenny Krempetz, the score keepers nightmares) please e-mail me.
