That looks like a good site, at least we won't need extra lighting with all the windows.

Greetings Fred, Slobodan and all,
The Serbian bid for 2008 has been approved already - I asked Andras
in the mine.
Go to
http://www.modelar.org.yu/eng/dor2005/hala.htm
There are pics of the smaller hall 3, which will probably be used for
the Euro Chumps next year. This is where Lutz Schramm just improved
the CAT 3 record to 34:47 - height is 22 metres. The top row of
images, third from the left is a plan of the exhibition complex -
click on it to enlarge it and you'll see hall 1. Hall 1 is bigger,
about 30 metres high - it's a shallow concrete ribbed dome. It hasn't
been flown in and is currently undergoing renovation. I believe that
the hall may be test flown at the same time as the Euro's next year
to see if it's a better site than hall 3. this is all the info I have
at the moment.
Nick.

thought that wouldn't happen until the next CIAM meeting. I have
heard that the site is quite small in floor area ( only a basket ball
court in size) I hope that is only a rumour and not true.
