My point is just that...get the kids interested in something else so
they can move on. I know BLG doesn't give them all skills that it
takes...but if the student shows interest in flying even if it's
thanks to the BLG...why not introduce them to something
else....something more complex. If no one tries to encourage
them...then how would they know to move on to the next step?
I know with rubber band powered planes...they need to start very
early...but if they are locked into that one event because no one
offers the suggestion of moving on...then there is no way of them
furthering their experience.
I'm only saying...if you get a chance...make a suggestion to the BLG
kids to give something else a try.
Sure, I'm glad that we at least have the BLG…but YES, I still would
much rather have WS around. But without either event in place…there
wouldn't have been a chance that my daughter would ever fly. We
wouldn't have ever even known about "Indoor flying" without one of
those events in place at SO.
