The best Wright Stuff teams in California are from the San Diego
region.
Troy High School in Fullerton goes to SicOly Nationals every year
representing Southern California and has won first overall (counting
all 23 events) in Division C about four or five times in the last
ten years.
Troy is excellent in nearly every event, except recently Wright Suff
has not been one of their stronger events.
It is doubtful that you will see any of the San Diego teams at
SciOly Nationals due to Troy's perennial excellence overall in the
twenty-three events.
Wright Stuff teams from three San Diego high schools and one from
Irvine usually battle it out for the medals at the Southern
California State finals each year.
At least two of the San Diego Wright Stuff teams have benefitted
greately from generous mentoring by well known free flight experts
John Hutchison and Cezar Banks.
