Nicholas Huang asked, "Is the commercial prop rule still around? Seems like
converting an Ikara
could be a pain."

Nicholas, the prop rule states "The propeller must be a single two-bladed
commercially made plastic propeller with a maximum diameter of 18.5 cm." So
it seems Ikaras are still OK. You can use one in the pusher mode as is, but
you have to remember to wind backwards. Who knows- Ikara may come out with a
pusher version that would permit normal winding.

I have a canard pusher model that I use for demonstration flying. It uses a
small Ikara which works fine so long as I remember to wind backwards with my
20:1 Wilder winder.
