Depends on what you are asking the boron to do; if 3 and 9 o'clock, it does nothing to withstand the vertical bending moment induced by the motor. Maximum effect for this load at 12 and 6 o'clock.

Does it also apply to 2 borons (for instance, 12&6 o'clock and 3&9
o'clock) ?
