1" rise in 57" is equal to 1.005 degrees -- 3" rise in 57" is equal to 3.01
degrees. Use any units in the 1:57 ratio.
The "1 to 57 = 1 degree" starts to fall apart above "10 to 57 = 10
degrees" -- at "15 to 57" it works out to 14.75 degrees (instead of 15
degrees)
