Tim,

Pitch = 2 * Pi * radius * Tan (blade angle)

Blade angle is measured relative to plane of prop rotation, not from shaft. (Blade angle is the complement of the angle between blade and prop shaft.) Use degrees (unless you are more comfortable in radians; I'm not.). Pitch and radius are measured in inches, mm, feet, meters, etc. but both in same units. The equation is true for any radius for a helical prop up to the tip of the blade.
