I have been working on the Kent situation and what it boils down to is 2
day meets can only be done on the break between semesters if the site is
available. The first semester session ends the last week/first week of
June, which is USIC week. For next year the best we can get so far is an
extended one day contest in April. The $800 rent covers from 8am to 8pm,
we can pay extra to get from 8am to 10pm. That is the best we can get
for an April Contest and the CFFS will host the contest with extended
hours. The date for the April contest will not be known until the fall
sports schedule comes out.
My Kent contact is suppose to tell me if any 2 day August dates are
available, but as of yet he does not have all the sports team schedules
yet so can not confirm a date as of yet. If no 2 day meet, when can
probably get a single meet from 8am to 10pm for about $1000 for the day.
I have emailed him again to see if he has any more info yet on availability.
