Yep that is what I was getting at. Also a thing to consider is that
"experts" are attracted to beginner events not to overrun them but
because it is a new event and a new challenge. Usually restricted events
become a "prop and rubber" contest as the design has been optimized and
all that is left is prop and rubber combinations (plus a little luck).
