Re: AMA indoor beginners class
Another thought to this is possibly to have only the goal of time be
the motivation and the model does not matter at all.
When I was younger and looking to better my times I would often
build a model that would embody the best of what I knew at the time.
These models were not built to a class of plane, they ended up being
a model that may have been a cross between classes, a hybrid.
The models were intended to get me to a specific time , 5 or 10 or
even 20 minutes. In this way the time was the goal and the model
design was only intended to better my skills.
You can think of an EZB with a 20x5 inch wing and a rolled fuse, OK
maybe its a legal INT stick but that isnt the goal.
By making time the ONLY motivation it would foster creativity in
the design and a modeler could build to his or her own level and not
have to worry about restictions of model class rules.
