Who posted the pictures of A6 number one and two in the photos
section? I was wondering what sort of performance differences you see
in the two models. A few years ago I flew an F1L with a high stab
thinking that getting the stab above the wing downwash was easier than
getting it below the downwash. The model flew pretty well. I've been
thinking about trying it again with better prop and rubber to see how
it compares to my current droop boom F1L.

One comment I have is about the MS on the number one model. Having a
lot of rubber clearance is a good idea in general but the curved MS
puts the extra clearance in the middle where you don't really need it
- at least in my experience. All my rubber tangles happened at the
front or rear hook. Maybe the extra clearance in the middle would let
the knots be more evenly distributed. What has your experience been
with this?

Speaking of F1L's, I've been flying the same ones for 2 1/2 years now
and it's time to build new ones. My wings and stabs are looking pretty
battle-weary!
