The May/June 2006 issue of MaxFax mentions an interesting adjustable nose 
block for scale planes that I had not heard of before. It is essentially a 
"double nose block" The first nose block fits into the fuselage bulkhead in the 
conventional manner & is adjusted in one direction only. I.E. either up/down or 
right/left. The second nose block fits into the first nose block & is adjusted 
in the other direction. This arrangement offers independent adjustment of the 
down & side adjustments. Have any of you used this method & what are your 
thoughts on it? I find shimming to be a hit or miss proposition.
