Hi Bill,

Have you ever tried the CA glue that is presently labeled "tire
cement"? It is a black goop that apparently contains some rubber.
Several years ago, Gail Gawain (of CST) gave me a bottle while at
Lost Hills and said it seems to "like" carbon quite well. I found
that it did as advertised. One thing it works well for is the repair
of Peck gray S.O. props. After too many walls and ceilings they tend
to split and what not and the "tire cement" does the job, at least it
keeps the prop usable. It stays somewhat flexible and can be sanded
and scraped down (with care) like the props are. My original "super"
prop is still going strong after being shortened for the new rules
and the repairs still are holding. It also seems to work o.k. for the
top hat-yoke junction on a VP prop.

While I'm on here, Andrew Tagliafico asked me yesterday to get out
the word that reservations at the University Inn in Moscow, ID for
the Kibbee Dome meet in early July are filing up and also the cut off
date for the room discount is June 1st.
