Ray,

That is good information to know. I agree. This proposal seems more like
it will clear the records and make it simple for new people to come set
new records instead of beating the existing records as they stand. I
have called my district rep and voiced my opinion. If the stated reason
is to simplify, then this is not a good way to do it. If you make a
square body (as most people do) then the rule is realy easy, length
divided by 10! A 25" model, then a fuselage 2.5" square on each side.
How can it be any more simple than that.
