Aki san,

The glass is one peice on each wing half, wrapped over the leading
edges to form a C-tube. My newest SCLG has a bonafide D-box with a
1/64 ply shear web at the spar. 2.4g, should be interesting.

I cut a 2" wide strip on the bias, spray lightly with 3M77 and
gingerly work it into place on the top surface only. Then wrap over
the LE and trim the glass on the bottom surface to size with small
curved scissors before sticking it down. Try and keep the fibers
oriented at 45/45, even around the curve. I took the glass back about
1/4" behind the carbon tow, just far enough to develop a little
strength and tie the CF into the structure.

Ambroid is a very light and effective adhesive. The total weight gain
for glass plus glue on a standard wing is about .6g. The surface is
satiny smooth, no need to seal it. Pressing down on the fibers
flattens them out and fills the weave.

I can't wait to get my vacuum bagging setup! Things will really get
crazy then.
