Just a little note: I found its "Gow-Joule Effect"
And seems its something it matters for the O-Ring
users, designers and makers.

This is a good reason to store the rubber on the frizer.
But, I also readed that this effect only appears when rubber
is streched.

I wasn't the one asking for this info, Thanks anyway.
