It's back to the drawing board for the A-6. Best quarter motor flight on a 3/02 motor of about .26g was 1:15 and altitude gain of about 15'. The model clearly needs an abnormal amount of power. Also, I need to figure out how to get a suitable prop run. Nothing I've tried so far will give me more than about 2 minutes on a quarter motor. You guys must have some dark secrets!

  I have standardized on a 4.5" long 1/4 motor. They can be tough to get to
  fully unwind without knots stopping the prop. Mine typically weigh about .23 gram.
