Kevlar

I have seen Kevlar used for motorstick bracing but can't remember who has used it. I'd like to try it on a 35 cm motorstick. How many strands would be sufficient? Is it difficult to glue or does it have to be tied off on the thrust bearing and rear hook? Any suggestions? Tom Sova
