I assume that is MS "Pete" Andrews who did first 30min official in 1949.
The flight, with a class C stick (150 sq in) was made with T-56 rubber which
was reported to have 2400ft energy storage. Computer analysis agrees with
the energy ratio that the model would be good for about 50min on Tan II.
