Gnat Class Glider

One of our club members suggested that we have a "friendly"
competition after our club meetings with Gnat class gliders. Basically
the gliders are 4" span max, 5" long max, 3" max stab span and must be
launched with a commercial rubber band 1/16" x 4" max. I posted a
picture of my first attempt at one of these machines in the gliders
album. It came out a little heavy at .5g but it flies well. The shape
and the sink rate sorta remind you of the space shuttle!
