All these issues (I think) were raised in the A-6 group which I asked
anyone concerned to join. It is still there to join and archives can
be read (142 posts.) Any "new" perceived problems can be addressed,
conceivably to tweak in next "cycle" whenever that seems needed--
that's assuming our present concept is accepted generally.

As explaned, it was the decided goal to codify the EXISTING PRECEDENT
of modern A6, not to address hitherto unknow problems, nor to change
anything much, nor to return the event to the way was in 1978. No
one is claiming A-6 still is a "beginner event" especially if the
standard of beginners is to be able to match the 10 minute flight
that a couple flyers can get.

The fact is, A6 does have a reasonably healthy following (by indoor
standards,) and there aren't beginners wrapped around the building
waiting to get in, so (IMHO) why not let those who enjoy it continue
to enjoy it in the form to which it has now developed?

If anyone has "clarification" type questions, feel free to ask here.
But if you only want to question the decisions arrived at by 7 yes
votes for approval of rules, and 1 abstention, please join
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/A-6_goodrules/
and talk about it there. There may now be new reason to keep the
group "open."
