I am currently writing the symposium paper on Discus Launched
gliders shortly to be published.... oh!.. and constructing a couple
of new IDLG similar to the Record Holder.. hopefully a little
lighter and certainly allot stronger.

And not forgetting ive just completed my first F1D...

The statement about 100sq. inch wings still holds some weight
although I did manage a 70sec. flight in Cardington last year.. with
a forced very tight turn. Flying large models in Cardington is like
swinging the proverbial cat but in a glass house!..I do believe that
the larger the wingspan the easier it is to launch. My new models
will be 36" span however if larger venues become available then
maybe 40-46" span will be the way forward.
