Sure. I want more flex in the motorstick to improve the launch and
transition to cruise, while retaining enough strength to keep it from
collapsing.

Wood with a high modulus of elasticity is good to find, but that
doesn't mean you want to use for everything. Just like C grain.
Harder to find, good for the proper uses, but you don't want to use it
everywhere.
