Re: A6 rules...

I have seen A6 tips made by laminating two strips of 1/32X1/16. As you said,
as long as the end result is a minimum of 1/16X1/16 I don't see any problem. I
have bent 1/16 Sq strips for tips, but it is indeed difficult to avoid
kinking or crushing the wood so that the finished dimensions are still /16 Sq.

Rounding the prop spar is common practice & I doubt that you would have a
problem at the USIC, as long as the diameter is 1/16. This is an area where the
rules could be clearer, one way or the other.

Just curious if it is allowed with A6 to have laminated outlines for
the likes of wing tips and stab tips... Assuming that they are
laminated out of 1/32x1/32 to bring them to the required size of 1/16"
sq as a minimum...

Also, in regards to the above, if it isn't allowable to do
laminations, is there any problem with bending 1/16" to a curved shape...

And finally, does the prop spar have to be square/rectangular, or can
it be rounded...? And/Or tissue sockets for the prop hub, instead of
a one piece prop spar...
