Ok... I didn't know if the flare was supposed to keep it out of the
ceiling, or just increase the pitch while it is up there under high
torque...

That's what I was thinking also... I had one other flight with a
stronger loop that landed with less turns... but I think that it was
too big...

I wound to 1650, which was about .15 torque or so, and then backed
off... I launched another flight at .12, and the plane handled it
really well... and I know that I wasn't really close to the max turns
on the motor... I really was just testing and was (pleasantly)
surprised with the time... Now I guess it is time to make a few more
motors and go for some max turns...
